In order to support the Jaunpur Branch Sub Basin (JBSB) Board to prepare their Water Management & Allocation Plans, District level sub committees formed under the chairmanship of District Magistrates vide G.O. No. 5675/09-27-Irr-4-63(W)/03TC dated 4th December 2009.
The meetings of the District Sub-Basin Water Management and Development Committees held in Sultanpur (15/2/2010), Jaunpur (17/2/2010), Raebareli (19/3/2010) and Pratapgarh (1/4/2010)

| State Water Mission Plan |
|
| Chief Secretary, GoUP in his meeting held on 24th December' 09, has directed to form core group for all the 8 mission under Climate Change involving line departments and atleast 5 subject matter experts from reputed institute like IITs, NIITs, HBTI, TERI and private academic organization. Principal Secretary, Irrigation GoUP is nominated as convenor for preparing State Water Mission Action Plan at 5 and 10 years horizon. |
